More about Matt:
The founder of Nudge Productions was recommended to attend a middle school assembly to watch Matt, who had been invited to speak to the students. He was so impressed by Matt’s words, conviction, character and the response of students, parents and teachers alike, that he introduced himself immediately after and invited Matt to become part of the Nudge team.
Matt has since further refined his content into both a presentation and workshops on positive values that can be adapted to varying year groups and audiences.
After discovering a true passion for disability services and health sciences, Matt commenced his physiotherapy degree with the vision of helping improve the health and quality of life of people affected by various physical and intellectual conditions.
Matt plays a significant role in a range of volunteer organisations. He is currently an Ambassador for Muscular Dystrophy WA, and regular volunteer at The Healthy Strides Foundation, an intensive therapy provider for children and young adults with neurological conditions and injuries.
Matt’s engaging presentation and workshop provides students with ideas and actions on how to create fulfilment and motivation in their life, both in and out of school. He covers a range of thought-provoking concepts, including:
- Discovering meaning, passions and values (self-exploration and fulfilment)
- Developing resilience
- Caring for mental wellbeing
- Displaying courage, and
- The importance and value of commitment.
