In School Yoga has almost a decade of experience in providing students and school staff strategies to move past the anxiety and teaching techniques to help cope with the daily pressures. Weekly wellness programs (Y8 to Y12)
In School Yoga’s Wellness Program is a nine-week program specifically designed for Years 8-12. We are focused on bringing health and well-being into our school system here in Western Australia – giving these valuable tools to as many students as possible. Program outline:
- Breathing techniques to help them feel calm and focused
- Stretching and strengthening the body
- Mindfulness practices
- Discussions around kindness, gratitude and optimism
- Identity and purpose
- Journaling and reflective discussion
Teacher and school staff workshops
On development days, or simply whenever you need it, we come to you to indulge you in an hour of meditative yoga practice. A well-deserved re-boot for hard working teachers and staff and a great way to educate them on mindfulness practices which they can use in their daily lives as well as in the classroom.
While our nine-week Wellness Program is designed to achieve the best results. However, a single session at a camp, or during a wellness focussed event is a fun, positive and great way to educate students and teachers about mindfulness.
Plant the seed workshops
Designed especially for primary school students! This gives students an introduction to yoga, mindfulness and meditation through creative play.
